Description

• Carry out routine preventive and corrective maintenance of the hotel’s electrical, mechanical and building systems, including air-conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, and water systems. • Maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure hotel is functional and in good condition •Perform general repair and maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor fixture repairs. • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns, ensuring timely resolution. • Report faults, abnormalities, and potential risks to supervisors or relevant contractors. • Provide prompt updates with internal departments to address maintenance issues efficiently and minimize disruption to operations. • Liaise with and supervise external contractors when assigned • Maintain accurate records on maintenance activities, repairs. • Ensure compliance to building and fire safety rules and regulations • Any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Engineering Manager

Requirements

• Possess at least Certificate/NITEC in Electrical, Mechanical, Facilities Management or Building Services or equivalent
• At least 2 years’ experience in building maintenance and repair work particularly in Hotel Industry will be of advantage.
• Candidates with relevant technical experience and several years of experience as a Building Technician may be considered for the senior position
• Experience in direct expansion system (VRV, multi-split) will be of advantage
• Able to lift heavy loads and equipment and able to communicate in English
• Team player and able to work independently
• Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
