Finance Manager for construction firm. Oversee project cost accounting, progress payment reconciliation, budget, cash flow, taxation and financial reporting. Manage AP/AR, review contract finance clauses, lead finance team and liaise with auditors, bank and tax authority
Description
1. Oversee the company’s overall financial management and the review of daily accounting records. 2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and cash flow reports. 3. Manage project cost accounting, budget control, and financial analysis. 4. Monitor project-related payments, supplier settlements, and client collections. 5. Supervise accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations, and capital allocation. 6. Analyze costs, profit margins, and capital utilization for individual construction projects. 7. Handle tax filings and financial compliance, and support annual audits. 8. Lead the finance team, while optimizing financial processes and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in finance; prior experience in the construction, engineering, or real estate industry is preferred.
- Proficient in construction project cost accounting, settlement of project payments, and budget management.
- Well-versed in financial statements, tax filings, and relevant accounting standards.
- Highly proficient in Excel and financial software.
- Strong skills in team management, financial analysis, and communication/coordination.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are preferred.
