Terms of Use for JodRewards Benefits Program

1. How and when these terms apply

These terms apply to Users in Singapore that participate in JodRewards through Jod Platform. JodRewards and Jod Points can be accessed through the User’s Jod mobile app. All Users are automatically enrolled in the JodRewards Program in Singapore.

These terms supplement the General Terms of Use. The General Terms of Use will apply to these terms except where these terms conflict with the General Terms of Use. Where a term is defined in our General Terms, that term when capitalised, will have the same meaning in these terms.

2. What is JodRewards and Jod Points?

JodRewards Benefits Program is a tier based benefits program by Jod and Jod Points are reward points issued by us to Users based on jobs completed on Jod Platform in Singapore. Jod Points can be used to redeem rewards in Rewards Mall accessible via Jod App.  

JodRewards provides additional sponsored benefits to Users based on their Tiers. Users are upgraded or downgraded every Quarter. For more information, please visit www.jodapp.com/get-started

3. Redeeming Rewards and Jod Points

JodRewards and Jod Points may only be redeemed by Users through the Jod Platform, via the User’s Jod mobile app.

Transaction fees may apply for some methods of redeeming Jod Points. Any transaction fees that apply will be communicated to Users before selecting a redemption method, and are not refundable after the Hero Points or Hero Points are redeemed.

All JodRewards sponsored benefits and Jod Points are not redeemable for cash and are not refundable once redeemed. 

All Users will be automatically enrolled to the Sponsored Benefits based on their Tiers on JodRewards. No additional action is required by the User. 

Only Users in Singapore have the ability to redeem rewards with Jod Points through the Users’ Jod mobile app in Rewards Mall and other JodRewards features.  


4. Redeemed Rewards and Jod Points validity

Upon allocation to a User, Jod Points will be valid for a period of 12 months from the date of allocation. Failure to utilise these points within this timeframe may result in expiration or cancellation at our sole discretion.

Please be aware that all Rewards are fulfilled by Third-Party Merchants, and Jod does not have control over this process. Users are responsible for reviewing the terms and conditions regarding the expiry, validity, and mode of usage of redeemed vouchers or services.

In the event of User Account termination, all JodRewards and any remaining unused Jod Points will be automatically cancelled.

5. Termination of program

We may terminate the JodRewards benefits program or Jod Points program by notifying you.

If we terminate the program under this clause you will have 90 days from the date of termination to award and redeem any outstanding Jod Points. At the end of the 90 day period, all Jod Points balances will be cancelled and you will no longer be able to award or redeem Jod Points

 6. Suspension or cancellation

We may suspend your Jod account and cancel any Jod Points at our sole discretion if you breach these terms or the General Terms of Use or if we reasonably suspect you are operating your Jod account fraudulently.

 7. Tax

Users are responsible and liable for any tax liability, stamp or other duty or other government charge or reporting requirement in connection with or on any benefits derived by JodRewards Benefits Program arising from the rewards redeemed from Jod Points.

We recommend that Users seek professional advice in respect of your specific situation, including possible fringe benefit tax implications. We don’t provide advice, assurances or warranties in respect of any liability arising in respect of JodRewards Benefits program or Jod Points.
